PRODUCT CARE

Every piece of jewellery is handcrafted in my studio in Copenhagen.

I strive for my jewellery production to have as little impact on the environment as possible. All my jewellery are therefore made in recycled 14 or 18 karat gold and 925 sterling silver and I use environmentally conscious techniques and chemicals where possible.

The surface of a piece of jewellery, especially rings, will get wear and tear over the years. For best maintenance; avoid contact with harsh chemical products (such as bleach, chlorine etc.) and rinse them thoroughly with lukewarm water if you've used soap, hand-sanitiser, perfume, hairspray etc. on them.

If your jewellery need to get its shine back, whether it needs to be cleaned, polished or get a new matte finish, you can always contact me, and we can find a solution.

Silver jewellery oxidises over time as they react with the sulphur in the air. To best avoid that, keep the jewellery in an air-tight jewellery box when they are not in use and store them in a dry room.

If your silver jewellery has oxidized you can clean them by following this guide:

You need:
- a ceramic or glass bowl
- aluminum foil
- boiling water
- baking soda
- an old toothbrush
- neutral dishwashing soap

How to:
- Take a piece of aluminum foil and put it on the inside of the bowl.
- Put the jewellery in the bowl so it lays on the aluminum foil. If you have more than one piece of jewellery, spread it out so they don't touch.
- Pour 1-2 tea spoons of baking soda in the bowl.
- Pour the boiling water over it all
- Leave it for 20-30 minutes
- Take the jewellery up and clean it with an old toothbrush with dishwashing soap and warm water
- Rinse under lukewarm water and dry it with a towel
